Mushroom Pizza's

Adapted From: Pinterest and Moore Family Food
http://moorefamilyfood.blogspot.com/2012/10/mexican-portobello-mushrooms.html

Yum Yum Yum! I have been seeing these all over Pinterest and finally decided to give it a try! Yesterday was the last day of the semester and I celebrated by cooking a new recipe! I find cooking so relaxing and because today I work a 9 hour day and tomorrow we head off to the great deep south, I needed to relax! They are very similar to the these mushrooms that we made a while ago but with a pizza twist! Enjoy!

The Fixin's
4 Portobello Mushroom Caps
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Cup Pizza Sauce
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Cup Spinach Leaves
1 Package Pepperoni
2 Gloves Minced Garlic
1 Teaspoon Oregano

Let's Cook Dinner
Pre-heat the oven to 350F
In a skillet cook ground beef with minced garlic and oregano
Drain fat and set aside
Clean/wash the mushrooms, remove gills and stem
Place mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with tin foil
Cover the bottom of eat cap with spinach leaves
Top with several spoonfuls of ground beef
Cover beef with pepperoni
Top with sauce and cheese
Bake for 20 mushrooms
** the mushrooms will expel a lot of water so don't worry, you will know it is done when it feels tender to the touch.
