Apple Crisp

Adapted From: My Mother In Law

My Mother In Law has an apple tree in her backyard and this summer she has had tons of apples! We have been the lucky recipient of apple butter, apple jellies, and canned apples. Along with the canned apples, she gave us a recipe for apple crisp! It is very served with a side of ice cream!

The Fixin's
4 Cups Sliced or Chucked Apples
1 Cup Oatmeal
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Stick Butter
1/2 Cup Flour

Let's Cook Dinner
Preheat oven to 400F
Spray a small baking dish with cooking spray
Spread apples on the bottom
In a mixing bowl combine oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter until well mixed
Pour on top of the apples
Bake for 25 minutes
Serve with a side of vanilla ice cream
